Alexandria, VA . . . The International Corrugated Packaging Foundation (ICPF) announced today that that new CorrAlliance Partner, Great Northern Corporation (GNC), has pledged $50,000 to support the International Corrugated Packaging Foundation.

"Great Northern has been an active participant in the Association of Independent Corrugated Converters and the Fibre Box Association for years", said John Davis, President of Great Northern's Packaging Group.  "Through these organizations we have been aware of the recent educational and recruitment initiatives conducted by the International Corrugated Packaging Foundation.  Great Northern's Board believes there could not be a better time for Great Northern to provide active support of ICPF and its work to ensure the best future for our industry." 
ICPF Chairman Jim Akers, CEO of Akers Packaging Service, Inc., welcomed Great Northern Corporation to the ICPF Partnership and thanked John for the corporation's pledge.  "We're grateful to John and GNC for their pledge and look forward to his valued input."
