Interested in a Clemson Student Intern? Clemson University Graphic Communications (GC) sends students out as interns three times a year to coincide with the university calendar. There are currently 51 Clemson GC majors interning in twelve states from New Jersey to Texas and Indiana to Florida. Some160–180 GC students intern annually with the largest group in the summer (nearly 80 students). Every GC major must complete at least two internships prior to graduation. “Students consistently rank these two experiences as being the most beneficial of their college careers,” says Nancy Leininger, Intern Program Director. The summer intern period will begin on or near May 15th and will last a minimum of 12 weeks. Students interning during the fall and spring semesters work at least 15 weeks. Anyone interested in summer or fall interns should contact Nancy at Lnancy@clemson.edu. The next GC Intern Employer Day is October 10, 2006.
